The kind of information we collect

We collect information, including personal information when you interact with Lobster Gram on the phone, via mail, email, through mobile devices and through our Site. Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect and store the following kinds of personal information: your name, email address, postal address, phone number, user ID, birthday, gender, product reviews and ratings, etc. Such information may be collected when you create an account with us, place an order online, contact us with a question or concern, subscribe to our newsletter or participate in our social media forums, membership programs, contests, promotions, and/or surveys.

Like most websites, we use cookies and/or web beacons to enhance your experience, gather general visitor information, and track visits to our website. Please refer to the “How we use Cookies and Action Tags' section below for information how we use those business tools.

How we use Cookies and Action Tags

A “cookie” is a small file that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser. Cookies enable the sites or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.  We use cookies to let us know you are an existing customer or user, to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart and to provide certain site features to you.

If you prefer, you can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies via your browser settings. Like most websites, if you turn your cookies off, some of our services, particularly the shopping cart, may not function properly. However, you can still place orders over the telephone or by contacting customer service.

We may also use a common web technology referred to as “action tags” (sometimes also referred to as single pixel gifs or web beacons) to anonymously track web activity. This information may include IP Addresses, browser types, Internet Service provider, referring/exit pages, the files viewed on our site (for example, HTML pages, graphics, etc.), computer operating system, date/time stamp and/or clickstream data to analyze aggregate trends and administer the site. These tags may be used to send data to third parties for tracking purposes, however, we do not transmit personal information via action tags.

Some web browsers may transmit "do-not-track" signals to websites with which the browser communicates. Lobster Gram does not currently respond to or honor these signals.

Internet-Based Advertising

Advertisements for our products & services may appear on third party websites and various online advertising networks across the internet. The online ad networks may use your past online behavior across participating websites to show you internet-based advertisements on those websites. You may see ads for Lobster Gram on participating websites based on how you browse our Site as well as how you browse those websites. We do not control such third party websites or services on which these ads appear nor do we control how they collect and use data about your online activities.

To learn more about internet-based advertising, including how to opt-out, please visit OR Please note that the opt-out mechanism relies on cookies to remember your choices with respect to ad-serving on websites. If you delete your cookies‚ use another computer or device‚ or change browsers‚ you will need to repeat the opt-out process. Other websites you visit may offer their own opt-outs. If you do opt-out of internet-based advertisements‚ you may still see advertisements on websites you visit‚ but those ads will not be based on your browsing behavior.
