Grand River, Inc.
Grand River Inc., a leading e-commerce consultant and developer, announced the launch of a new e-commerce solution for Lobster Gram. Grand River, a Magento Gold Partner since 2008 and Partner Excellence award winner, used Magento Enterprise Edition 1.13 to create the new online presence for Lobster Gram. This leading open-source, e-commerce platform delivers a scalable, cost effective, online retail solution with rich features and functionality including responsive design.
“We’re more than a gift -- we’re an experience,” said Dan Zawacki, Founder and Chairman of Lobster Gram. “Our goal was to take the growth of our online channel to the next level and give customers a better shopping experience. Grand River helped us do that in time for the all-important holiday season.”
Grand River used its expertise in creative design, user experience, information architecture and technical integration to develop the new website for Lobster Gram on the Magento platform. Responsive design enables the site to deliver a consistent experience when accessed from mobile devices.
To provide Lobster Gram with seamless order management across all their shopping channels and lines of business, Grand River integrated Multichannel Order Management (M.O.M.) from Dydacomp with the Magento e-commerce platform. The order management system handles order import, inventory management, order processing and fulfillment, automating site functions like shopping cart checkout.
“Lobster Gram takes great pride in delivering an outstanding gourmet experience to its customers,” said Scott Robertson, co-founder and chief executive officer of Grand River. “They recognize the importance of providing an online shopping experience that matches their customers’ in-home dining experience. The new site features an easy way to view their extensive product catalog and the responsive design ensures the site works well on mobile devices.”
In addition to the design and development work for Lobster Gram, Grand River provides strategic e-commerce consulting, post-launch marketing services and managed hosting through an e-commerce services agreement.
